Distinguished Development Leader Honored with doctor of international development honoris causa
The American University of Business and Social Sciences (AUBSS) and the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) are proud to jointly confer the honorary title of Doctor of International Development (Honoris Causa) on Mr. Ndonwie Peter in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to humanitarian development, women’s and children’s rights advocacy, and sustainable community advancement across Africa and beyond.
With a career spanning over two decades, Mr. Ndonwie has exemplified servant leadership through his impactful roles as Founder and Director of the Pan African Organisation for Research and Protection of Violence on Women and Children (PAORP-VWC), and as a pioneering coordinator of multiple international development initiatives funded by esteemed partners including Educo Spain, Anesvad Foundation, the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, and Tzedek UK.
His efforts have directly influenced policy frameworks—such as Ghana’s National Strategic Framework for Ending Child Marriage—and catalyzed grassroots change in education access, anti-trafficking initiatives, conflict resolution, and rural development. Through a wide portfolio of community-driven projects and partnerships, Mr. Ndonwie has brought transformative outcomes to vulnerable populations in Cameroon, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and beyond.
In jointly awarding this degree, AUBSS and QAHE honor not only Mr. Ndonwie’s personal achievements but also the ideals of global equity, innovation, and inclusive development that he embodies. The conferment represents a testament to his tireless pursuit of social justice and his inspiring vision of empowered, resilient communities.
The institutions extend heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ndonwie and look forward to future collaboration in championing excellence and purpose-driven leadership in international development.
