Dr. Gapani, an accomplished academic and practitioner, has dedicated over 35 years to civil service, demonstrating remarkable integrity and professionalism. His extensive experience spans various tiers of government and collaborations with esteemed donor agencies, including the World Bank and the African Development Bank. Dr. Gapani’s leadership and expertise have significantly impacted the empowerment of youth in Nigeria, providing over 500 individuals with meaningful employment opportunities.

 

The Distinguished Professorship is not only a testament to Dr. Gapani’s academic qualifications—holding a PhD in Public Financial Management and numerous honorary doctorates—but also to his commitment to excellence in education.
